Ordering & enquiries
How do I place an order or enquire?
There’s no online checkout at Knots of Jaipur — we like to help you personally. Browse the pieces you love, then send us a message on WhatsApp (or email us) with what has caught your eye. We’ll talk you through sizes, options, and everything you need to place your order.
The quickest way to reach us is on WhatsApp.
Why aren’t prices shown on the site?
Many of our pieces are made to order, so the price depends on the size, quantity, and any customisation you’d like. Rather than show a figure that may not fit what you have in mind, we prefer to share an honest quote once we understand your piece. Tell us what you like and we’ll get you the details straight away.

Do you offer custom sizes and colours?
Yes. Because so much of what we make is made to order, we can often tailor sizes and discuss colour options with you. Share what you’re looking for when you enquire and we’ll tell you what’s possible. As each piece is crafted by hand for you, a lead time applies.
How do I pay?
Payment is arranged directly with us during your enquiry, once your piece and its details are confirmed. We’ll walk you through the options that work for you when you reach out.
Our products & craft
What are your textiles made of?
Our textiles are crafted in Jaipur from natural fibres such as cotton, hand block-printed by artisan families using carved wooden blocks and natural, AZO-free dyes. They’re made slowly, by hand, to be lived with and to grow softer with time.
Why do colours and prints vary slightly?
Hand block printing and natural dyes mean small variations in colour, alignment, and texture are part of every piece — the signature of genuine handcraft rather than a defect. Screens and monitors also show colour differently, so the shade you see online may differ a little from the cloth in your hands.

How long does a made-to-order piece take?
Lead times vary by piece, depending on what’s being made and any customisation involved — good handwork simply takes the time it takes. We’ll confirm a realistic timeline for your specific piece when you enquire, so you always know what to expect.
Shipping & delivery
Do you ship across India and internationally?
Yes — we can arrange delivery within India and to many places abroad. Timelines and charges depend on your piece and where it’s going, so we confirm the exact details at the time of your enquiry rather than quote a figure that might not hold. Just let us know where you are and we’ll take it from there.
Care & returns
How do I care for my textiles?
In short: wash separately in cold water for the first few washes, use a mild detergent, dry in the shade, and iron on the reverse. Naturally dyed, hand-printed cloth loves a gentle touch and will only grow lovelier with care.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Because pieces are often made to order for you, returns and exchanges are handled directly and case by case. If something isn’t right, please reach out and tell us what happened — we’ll always do our best to make it right.
