Shipping & Delivery
Last updated: 20 July 2026
We pack and send from Jaipur. This page explains when your order leaves us, how long it usually takes to reach you, and what happens on the rare occasion something goes wrong on the way.
1. When your order is dispatched
Orders are processed Monday to Saturday. Anything confirmed on a working day is packed the same or the next working day, and leaves us within two working days where the piece is ready in the studio.
Sundays and public holidays aren't working days for us or for the couriers, so an order confirmed on Saturday evening will usually go out on Monday.
2. How long delivery takes
Once dispatched, orders typically reach you in 4–9 days anywhere in India, depending on how far the courier has to travel. Larger cities are usually at the shorter end of that range and remote pin codes at the longer end.
3. Shipping charges
We don't take payment on the site — orders are confirmed over WhatsApp — so nothing is calculated at a checkout. The delivery charge for your address is quoted to you along with the price of the piece, before you pay anything. There are no charges added afterwards.
Where a delivery method costs more than the standard service, that difference is quoted to you too, and it's your choice whether to take it.
4. Tracking your order
When your parcel leaves us we send the courier name and tracking number to the same WhatsApp thread you ordered on. If tracking hasn't moved for more than two working days, message us and we'll chase the courier ourselves rather than sending you to do it.
5. Your delivery address
Please check the address and phone number carefully before confirming — couriers in India rely heavily on being able to call you. We can change the address any time beforedispatch; once a parcel is with the courier it usually can't be redirected, and a wrong address that causes a parcel to come back to us is charged for re-delivery.
6. Delays we can't control
Once a parcel is with the courier, its progress is out of our hands. Weather, festivals, strikes, local restrictions and hard-to-reach pin codes can all add days to a delivery. We'll keep you posted and follow it up from our side, but we can't promise a date the courier network isn't able to hold to.
7. If a delivery doesn't succeed
Couriers normally attempt delivery more than once. If nobody is reachable and the parcel comes back to us, we'll get in touch to arrange sending it again — the re-delivery charge applies where the parcel returned for reasons outside our control, such as an incorrect address or no one being available.
If a parcel arrives damaged, don't accept it without recording the unboxing — see the returns page, where the video requirement is explained.
8. Talk to us
For anything about a delivery in progress, message us on WhatsApp — it's the fastest way to reach a person — or write to knotsofjaipur@outlook.com. We're a small studio in Jaipur, and a real person reads every message.
